The bankers are little surprised over Central Government nominating Alok Tiwari, Deputy Secretary, Department of Financial Services, as Government Nominee Director on the Board of Corporation Bank w.e.f. March 5, 2020 as the Bank is slated to merge with Union Bank of India by April this year.
