Why MEA wants denial by sources ?

It’s a long story. One JS has reportedly said that Antigua has not denied to hand over Mehul Choksi to India. PMO is understood to have asked the Ministry that the said JS should clarify his reported statement. According to sources, MEA is not issuing any official denial in this regard but it is said that some media houses are being approached to publish "denial" according to sources.
