Why has the name of Hari Shankar Verma (IRTS), DG Safety, Railway Board, been struck off for the appointment as Member (Operations & Business Development), Railway Board? As per protocol, he was supposed to succeed incumbent Ravinder Goyal retired on November 30, 2024 and the Member Operations post goes to IRTS officers.
