Will 1982 batch IPS be DGP UP?

 If sources are to be believed IPS officers of 1982 batch have a good chance to become next DGP, UP. Presently two 1982 batch IPS officers are working in the state. Praween Singh and Dr. Surya Kumar. Singh is schedule to retire next year in June while Dr. Kumar will superannuate in August 2018. If any officer of this batch is appointed he will have a time frame from ten to twelve months. No one will fulfill the SC directive of two years fix tenure.
