Will A K Bhalla succeed Gauba ?

In the Modi Government, no one can predict the future of a bureaucrat. If the performance of Home Secretary A K Bhalla is taken into account, he should succeed Rajiv Gauba as Cabinet Secretary. A 1984 batch IAS officer of Assam –Meghalaya cadre Bhalla, who  steered the ship in the stormy water of Covid, may get the reward. If not moved, he may be given extension as Secretary Home.
