Will a non-Diplomat be new High Commissioner of London?

Rumours are rife that this time a non-Diplomat is being appointed Indian High Commissioner in London. One source, however, said that 1987 batch IFS officer Ruchira Kamboj who is presently Ambassador to Bhutan will move to London.
