Will Aparna succeed Mukim or join GoI ?

In the corridors of power,  there are talks that if Ms. S Aparna doesn’t joins the Finance Ministry in the Government of India, she will return to the parent cadre to succeed Anil Mukim after his extended term is over. She is 1988 batch IAS officer.
