Will Axis Bank choose an external candidate for MD & CEO post ?

The Axis Bank Board has reportedly shortlisted three external candidates namely - Pramit Jhaveri, CEO, Citi India , Shirish Apte, former CEO and Chairman (Asia Pacific), Citigroup  and  P S Jayakumar, CEO, Bank of Baroda. The RBI will take a final call on the recommendations. The internal candidates from Axis Bank in the race are -- V Srinivasan, Deputy Managing Director and Rajiv Anand, Executive Director (Retail Banking).
