Chandra had been the DG (Acquisition) in the MoD . He is a 1988 batch Maharashtra cadre IAS officer and presently posted as the Secretary, MIB. Before joining the Ministry of I&B in August this year, he worked as the Secretary, Labour from October 1, 2020.
