Will Coal India be split into 4 companies ?
The Central Government may consider NITI Aayog’s proposal made in 2017 that Coal India Ltd be split into four companies -- Mahanadi Coalfields, South Eastern Coalfields, Northern Coalfields and Central Coalfields so that each of its units can compete against each other.
