Will Defence Secretary get extension?

Secretary Defence Dr Ajay Kumar who is scheduled to retire in October is likely to get a one year extension in service. He is 1985 batch IAS officer of Kerala cadre. If he is not given extension  top sources said that 1988 batch IAS officer either S S Sandhu  1988 batch IAS officer of Maharashtra Cadre Apoorave Chandra or Giridhar Aramane  may be Secretary Defence.
