Will DMs take crime meetings in UP ?

In UP, District Magistrates(DMs) will reportedly chair the district crime  meeting and Police Chiefs will attend the meeting. He can direct the Police Chief to remove any SHO if complaints against him were found correct. It is said that the state govt is understood to have taken decision in this regard. SSPs cannot take a separate crime meeting. It is said that IPS officers are said to be very much upset by such reported order.
