Will GoI prepare a new policy for DGP postings?

If sources are to be believed , the Centre may consider to frame a new posting policy for the DGPs. Sources said in some states the Police Chiefs are not posted for a fixed two-year term despite the Apex Court directives. And this has necessitated the government to frame a new policy.
