Will Group B & C staff cadre merge ?

A move likely to be initiated to merge the Group B & C staff cadre- Executive, Ministerial and Non- Technical-of all Directorate under CBIC into one Common Cadre. It is said that at a recently held meeting this topic was discussed and it was agreed that all out efforts should be made to ensure that new Recruitment Rules (RRs) for the Directorate are issued as soon as possible. For this a meeting should be held with JS (Admn) and DG,HRM.
