Will history be repeated ? (5) Ajay Tyagi again

Last time also SEBI post of Chairman was advertised . But, interview did not take place and Chairman Ajay Tyagi was given extension till 2022. Will this history be repeated again. He may again be re-appointed till he attains the age of 65. Tyagi, a 1984 batch IAS officer of the Himachal Pradesh cadre, was appointed as SEBI Chairman on March 1, 2017 for a period of three years. Subsequently, he was given a six-month extension and later in August 2020 his tenure was extended by 18 months.
