Will IRS officer resign from service ?

Will Lokesh Kumar Lilhare resign from the service to  join politics? A 2006 batch IRS(C&CE) Lilhare who was OSD to Uma Bharti , Union Minister and has recently been repatriated to his service. Ms Bharti had already announced in March this year that Lilhare would be her political successor in MP and likely to fight assembly election from Balaghat in MP. He is from Balaghat. It is said that he is likely to put his papers soon.
