It is said that Atul Karwal is likely to be posted as DG of some Central Police Force(CPF). He is presently posted as DG, NDRF. He is a 1988 batch Gujarat cadre IPS officer. As per sources DGs post of CRPF and BSF will fall vacant in September and December this year respectively.
