Will nine banks be closed or merged ?

There is a dilemma over the alleged news that 9 Public Sector banks are likely to be closed permanently. This extreme step is reportedly necessitated to get rid of the increasing NPA. But some sources deny and said there is only a plan  to merge these banks with big banks. It is said that RBI is reportedly working out on all options. These nine banks are - Corporation Bank, UCO Bank, IDBI, Bank of Maharashtra, Andhra Bank, I O B, Central Bank of India, Dena Bank and United Bank of India.
