Will NWC be a reality ?

National Water Commission (NWC) is still at the consideration stage. Ministry of Water Resources has conceptualized the creation of NWC about two years ago. It will replace the existing Central Water Commission (CWC) and Central Ground Water Commission (CWC), It is said that Engineers in the Department are not in favor of new Commission. They allege that the whole exercise is to accommodate a bureaucrat as its Chairman.
