WIll Pankaj Mishra be the next Chairman, CBDT?
In case Ravi Agrawal, Chairman, CBDT, whose term has been extended till June 2026, gets some other assignment then Pankaj Mishra may be appointed next Chairman CBDT. He is a 1989 batch IRS-IT officer. Incidently he is also retiring in October.If appointed he will get one year extension.
