Will Rizvi join as CMD, NMDC failing which vacancy arises after Sridharan retires ?

R Sridharan, Special Secretary in Government of India and holding an additional charge of CMD, NMDC, is retiring on September 30, 2017.  Besides, whispers are circulating in public sector that Ali Raza Rizvi, presently in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, who was appointed as Chairman-cum-Managing Director, NMDC Limited, Hyderabad, appears to be not interested in joining the same. A vacancy of this post may arise on October 1, 2017.
