DEBATE (1)
Thank you for the opportunity to express. There is not even a distant match to Modi for PM, given his extraordinary calibre. Though we all know this, perhaps, our shameless and selfish attitude or some compulsions make us look other way, probably also swayed by the make-believe propaganda.
Honestly speaking, currently, Modiji is the best candidate who is capable of meeting the aspirations of the nation, by his individual merit - living style, services rendered to the society, competency, proven track record, etc.
So, the vote is for Modi. Rest all can wait, preparing themselves to qualify, in the real sense. Let the good of our nation & our people in particular and the world in general be our guiding force here. Namo Namah !
A grateful citizen.
Slogans might decide the next PM
Naa khaungaa naa khaane doongaa or Khao aur khilao, looto aur lutao
The dabate seems to have been concluded even before it started as seminal changes in the polity have taken place since it started. Irrespective of individuals, the next election will confront voters with a clear choice between options as listed in the foregoing. Besides, whether the voter choice is for tukde tukde Bharat or united India; weak or strong India; India governed by foreign hand or resident Indians; India ruled by parallel government or elected government; India as a superpower or poor country; India worth emulation or contempt. In any case, the electioneering is going to provide enough comic relief in the form of frailties and foibles of the sexes in politics and in TV studios.

Narendra Modi is the most suitable face for PM. His strength is wisdom, experience, honesty reliability and popularity. He is a true patriot. Har har modi ghar ghar modi. India really needs Modi.

Abdication of responsibility in pathetic and forlorn countryside !
Instead of catching the bull by the horns to sort out any grim situation, the governments, over the period, have found out solutions in abdication of its responsibilities, to gradually hand over the most essential services to the private players. In the year 2005,the govt ,in its wisdom, thought of bringing in the corporate houses to run educational institutions, particularly in the hinterland, but the result is for everyone to see, the education in the rural India, has gone into paralysis. Recently the govt made its intentions clear to hand over the govt rural primary health centres, community health centres, and urban community health centres to the private doctors and hospitals, by getting an advertisement published in newspapers. Under pressure from the various health and social organisations, the govt has immediately taken a U-turn. A govt ,which cannot administer its organisations efficiently is not expected to regulate them well, after handing these over to the private players, despite its assurances of the proposed systems to be public and poor friendly. It is a gospel truth that the health system in the state has been on down slide for long. But in spite of that deterioration the district level, sub-divisional level, and some hospitals where doctors are dedicated, are generally full to the brim with patients.
In the year 1976, there were wide-spread reports in Sangrur that, the civil hospital had turned into a kennel. It was also reported that a newly born infant was devoured by the ferocious dogs which roamed about in the wards. In the year 1987, I inspected some rural hospitals in Hoshiarpur, where I found many dogs and other cattle-heads freely moving around in the wards. At some places they outnumbered the indoor patients. There is a village in Amritsar district, where a govt doctor visits the hospital once in three days. He lives in the city and runs his diagnostic centre and also works in some private hospitals. This has generally become a rule rather than an exception. The non practicing allowance given to govt doctors ,has not brought about any positive change in the health delivery system. The medical education has become very expensive, of late. Though the salary of medical officers is also good ,yet the system does not inspire the medicine professionals to join or stay in govt. The recruitment system in the govt ,with so frequent changes and lethargic approach, has become uninspiring and clogged.
Though the health delivery system has become expensive, and generally the reputation of many medical practitioners, has suffered, yet the doctor' place in public esteem still remains intact. Still so many doctors are so noble and so godly. I remember, Dr Aishi lal Khurana, worked in rural dispensary in village Kasel in Amritsar before partition and continued there till mid fifties. He maintained the hospital, so well that many people from the surrounding villages would come to see the hospital. In almost 20 villages, he was a house-hold name. He never disappointed any patient. He would visit the patient even in the thick of night and very distant places. He lived with his family of five small kids and wife in the hospital premises. Though he was a very kindly person, he would not allow even the most feared persons to speak loudly in the hospital premises. He had turned the hospital into a paradise. After his retirement in the mid fifties, he joined a hospital in village Bohrhu. That was the only charitable private hospital in the area. His reputation was so impeccable that in the entire area ,people would go to Bohrhu village, when they required medical help. He had made his residence at Lawrence road Amritsar. But on so many occasions, he would go to hospital, which was 12 miles away, on his cycle and also pedal back from hospital .Nobody remembered if he had ever taken a leave from hospital. People revered him like demi-god and he never failed them. People still remember him, even three decades after he is no more.
Governance has generally been a casualty over the period and more so in the rural India. But the public should not suffer because of the incompetence, lack of will ,commitment, dedication ,and diligence, on the part of the govt. Govt must try whole-heartedly to improve the health-care system, and endeavour to find out more Dr Aishi lals, but in case it finds it impossible to do so,then suitable alternative be found out,but not to succumb to pressures and take U-turns. Abdication of authority is not the solution.

Induction of Mrs Priyanka into politics paves the way for Rahul Gandhi

DEBATE (1)
An induction of Mrs Priyanka Gandhi Vadra into active politics will alter political scenario. Mrs Priyanka is expected to endear herself to the voters of the country. Her personality is a reminiscent of her grandmother late Indira Gandhi. She will emerge as stumbling block for Narendra Modi to retain power and pave the way for Rahul Gandhi to don the mantle of the country. I reckon that the people voted for Modi to power in the hope of transformation of the country, but he did not meet to the aspiration of the people. Present political scenario leans on in favour of Congress and other opposition parties.

DEBATE (2)
Coalition will be able to decide on PM
If a coalition forms the Government at the Centre after 2019 Lok Sabha polls, a consensus candidate will surely emerge for PM post. Certainly, there would be some bickering but finally a consensus candidate will emerge.

DEBATE (3)
Coalition govt in 2019 !
I feel there would be coalition Government in 2019 and consensus would emerge on an educated out of the blue, even if un-elected as MP, as Prime Minister of India, Government would complete term too and the next term too would go to that coalition. Democracy is now born in India and voter is the king.

Bureaucrats not happy with PM
Many bureaucrats not happy with PM Modi as he has clipped the wings. That is why all clandestine operations are going on including the leakage of CBI investigation in ICICI bank scam, Enhancement of gratuity of Rs 20 lakhs wef from 29th march 2018 instead of 1st January 2016 for retired CPSE executives, EPS 95 pension for exempted CPSE employees, Non implementation of Pension in steel Maharatna PSU etc. Hope PM modi will look into these aspects in the interest of 85 lakhs effected senior citizens.

DEBATE (1)
Any individual, group, organisation or any sensible person can not ask for such comparison. So first of all please withdraw this question of comparison. In democracy like India, any thing may happen because already in past there have been such PMs like Deve Gowda, I K Gujral, Rajiv Gandhi etc. Comparing a hard working Yogi Rashta Bhakta present PM with a person like Rahul Gandhi is a crime against India, Self and India Democracy. So in the interest of better sense please withdraw question asking for such comparison.

DEBATE (2)
Priyanka Gandhi’s entry into politics means a lot
With Priyanka Gandhi‘s entry into politics, Narendra Modi certainly has a challenge waiting in the Lok Sabha polls. Rahul Gandhi may still be too young to sit on PM’s chair but certainly Congress party has loads of other senior leaders who can be PM with Priyanka ensuring party's win.
Ashok Sinha
DEBATE (3)
Rahul Gandhi may not be PM
Rahul Gandhi will certainly not become the PM after 2019 Lok Sabha polls. It could be Narendra Modi again but with the consent of the NDA allies who may have their own choice of PM candidate.

Abolishing IT is impractical
In whispersinthecorridor of 28th, a comment is made about abolishing personal income tax. Sorry to say that this proposal is totally impractical and will lead to disastrous consequences for country's finances and programmes financed from revenue. There is no question of taking such a step just to win votes for one election.

On EVM hacking-Press Conference in London
Can't we have some mechanism by which the party who are making allegations can be booked after allegations found false and baseless ? Lot of money and time is wasted in discussions or debates or if committee is appointed to investigate. Party or person making allegations must be knowing that these are false. There must be some deterrent so that people avoid 'throw and run' kind of allegation from fear of being prosecuted.

I want to see Rahul Gandhi as PM of the country because he has a new vision.

DEBATE (2)
The new PM of India should be PM MODI.
Why?
a) The Economy has grown fast in 5 years. Likely to grow at 9.3% in decade ahead.
b) National Security has focus. China stopped in its tracks at Doklam & Maldives.
c) Forex Reserves highest since 1947 at 400 billion dollars !
d) No terrorist attack on India in 5 years!!
e) Swatch BHARAT is a huge success . LPG to rural India touching 9 crores families . Rural india is on Mobile (890 million ). Banking accounts opened.
f) Dignity of Labour back in India!!

Induct officers from other Specialist Services
In my view time has now come to induct officers from other Specialist Services IRS, IAAS, IRAS etc in CBI especially given the scenario that all the major cases being tackled by CBI these days invariably involve financial and economic crimes , which these officers are better equipped to investigate.

Regional parties to play major role in 2019 elections
I am of the view that regional political parties will play an instrumental role in 2019 Lok Sabha elections with deciding the fate of Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi. Modi is passionate orator and a highly persuasive political propagandist, but may not retain power in this election, due to his retrograde steps. Besides, Rahul Gandhi will realize his political ambition with the support of regional parties.

Failure of Cong to capitalise on London Press Tele-Conference on EVM Hacking ?

What do you make of the failure of the Congress leadership to capitalise on yesterday's London Press Tele-Conference on EVM Hacking ? Will slow burner reaction be able to outlast Government firefighting ?

Mess that we are in

Asthana was bailed out of CBI mess by his friends and now next few days he shall be placed at some important DG post in NIA or elsewhere. This reflects the total mess that we are in. Corrupts have their way as never before.

Political system of our country needs to be matured
Yes that is where political system of our country needs to be matured on ground level. He worked so hard and innovative but no takers for his work. These kind of things promote bureaucrats to alienate with political parties. Sad.

Need to be cautious to select top brass

Many bureaucrats are groomed under UPA regime and are cat on the wall. They knew the weakness of politicians very well. But there is a community i.e. a Telugu Niyogi Brahmin who are great administrators can save this country, Former PM PVN rao, VV giri, Sarvepalli radhakrishna, Dr KLRao, VB raju, Prakasham pantullu, Dr. Burugula ramakrishna rao, etc. Many of these community migrated to USA and Europe and australia because of The honesty, sincerity and high qualifications. it is the time that the Govt should utilise the services for the nation.

Alok Kumar shouldn’t join politics

Alok Kumar will prove his point better and nail his detractors strongly if he remains officer like and does not join politics. He can then ask that nations wants to know if rule of law prevails and crooks masquerading as officers and journalist should not be hung to nearest lamp post.

Really pathetic

Kiran Bedi, an IPS officer of UT cadre, had the portfolio of DCP (Traffic), Delhi remembers her for her effectiveness. Does Delhi has some IPS officers who could match her. Things are really pathetic.
