DEBATE(1)
Narendra Modi is expected to retain power for the third consecutive time as there is no such strong leader who can take on him. NDA will derive political benefits due to weak opposition.
Nitin Saxena
DEBATE(2)
All the opposition parties should join hands and promote Mamta Banerjee. She appears to be a Prime Minister candidate and can lead the country in the right direction.
Faruque Azam
DEBATE(3)
Skyrocketing prices of essential commodities may cause BJP to lose power in the 2024 general elections. There may be a hung Parliament forcing the opposition to choose an unknown face.

ग़लत कमेंट्स पब्लिश हो जाने पर खेद -

DEBATE(1)
DEBATE(2)
Politics, like all other spheres of human endeavour, is highly dynamic in nature. At the national level, the circumstances and challenges faced by apex leaderships varied widely down the decades since Independence. It is an unalloyed and perhaps bitter truth that nobody is indispensable.
It goes without saying that a Prime Minister is the guiding force but it is the system - including the bureaucracy - that actually does the work at the grassroots and other levels in our vast and diverse country. For instance, an enlightened bureaucrat would function effectively using his or her own intellect even in the absence of proper political supervision. Again, it is the hour that produces the hero.
Had anyone thought, say in 2010, that Narendra Modi would emerge like a Colossus on the scene? A political personage may develop and adapt himself or herself to be the most appropriate in a certain setting. Since a question needs to be answered, I would mention the names of Mr Sachin Pilot (because of his political acumen), Mrs Priyanka Gandhi Vadra (because she reveals greater maturity than certain others) and Mr Rahul Gandhi (because he may be catapulted by sheer chance).

DEBATE(3)
I beg to disagree with Ruchi Saxena, Rajiv Chopra and Ravi Ranjan, regarding choices for next PM in 2024, India needs an educated & qualified economist to revive the economy which is in the worst form at present.

India badly needs two child norm
There is a crying need for the adoption of the two child norm in India. There are sections of the population who adopt the two child norm voluntarily and there are other sections who keep having any number of children, either due to ignorance or due to consciously thought out reasons. The two child norm has to be popularised through disincentives for people who have more than two children, for example, by denying the benefits government offers to parents of such children and the children who are born subsequent to the second child. The benefits of reservations in education, jobs and political offices should be denied to children born after the second child and to parents having more than two children, the fees for driving licenses may be five times more, an income tax cess may be imposed on such parents. The children should be counted in the aggregate per person and not per marriage or without marriage. For the poor, the benefits for those below the poverty line should not be denied, though.

Public Interest Disclosure and Protection of Informers (PIDPI)

Certified copies of all noting, all inquiry reports, and all first and second stage advice in respect of appellant’s various complaints registered by Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) under PIDPI Resolution were sought. The PIO replied that the information sought cannot be provided as per PIDPI Resolution dated 21.04.2004. The Appellant submitted that he is being denied information under the garb of PIDPI resolution even though he had categorically mentioned that he has no objection to the disclosure of his identity. Further, all of the complaints referred to by him are related to corruption and disclosure of information is invariably in the larger public interest. The appellant submitted that in similar cases, the Hon’ble CIC have granted relief vide orders no. CIC/CVCOM/A/2018/173997 Date of Decision 11.01.2021 & CIC/CVCOM/A/2018/174234 Date of Decision 11.01.2021. The PIO submitted that it is the constant endeavour of CVC to protect the interests of the whistle-blowers whether it is a PIDPI or non PIDPI complaint. He informed that CVC has challenged the decision of CIC wherein disclosure has been ordered under the RTI Act in similar cases before the Hon’ble Delhi High Court and are awaiting admission by the Court. The CIC noted that at present Writ Petitions No.5596/2021; 5600/2021 & 5105/2021 are pending before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi. The appeal was adjourned sine die.
Comments
Disclosure of action taken on complaints has been increasingly sought by different quarters. It is strange that the Hon’ble CIC has adjourned the matter only because a WP is pending before the High Court even when no specific stay has been granted.

DEBATE(1)
Continuation of PM Modi for another two terms can be the best thing to happen to our country. We should not assess the performance of a Government by what we are told but by what difference the policies have made to our lives. I admire the Laws passed by Modi Government, the speed at which I now get my IT Returns, The quality of Expressways on which I now drive that too with no delays in Toll Booths, The improvement in Railways and the way travel by train has changed, the speed of modernization of our Armed Forces, Indigenous production of TEJAS and host of other military equipment, the respect which our PM gets when visiting abroad, the political will to abrogate Article 370 and 37A . I can go on and on. With such a PM where is the requirement for a change.

DEBATE(2)
In BJP, Nitin Gadkari and in opposition Sharad Pawar

DEBATE(3)
UP CM Yogi Aditya Nath is certainly a PM face in India.
S Banerjee
DEBATE(4)
In 2011 L K Advani was the PM face. At that time, where was Modi ? Similarly there are many faces of PM in this country.

DEBATE (1)
No doubt Narendra Modi is the top choice of the people and we must have no doubt about his immense talent and capability. The way he fought back and won people’s hearts after the alleged mismanagements during the second wave of COVID-19 is really remarkable. At that time many of Modi’s detractors had suggested that his image was badly tarnished. But the way he handled everything after a disastrous second wave has proved that there is no match for him in India at present. There are no second or third PM candidates in the country at present. Congress is the main opposition party but its main leader Rahul Gandhi stands nowhere near Modi in mass popularity and appeal. But still Rahul is the Congress leader at the national level and he is the second contender for the top job after Modi. If we have to suggest a third PM candidate then it will have to be from BJP and he is Amit Shah. He is not the party president but in effect he is still the chief of the BJP and plays an important role in the organisation.
Ruchi Saxena, Housewife, New Delhi
DEBATE (2)
If BJP retains power for the third consecutive time, Nitin Gadkari can be installed as new Prime Minister. He is more visionary than others.
Rajiv Chopra
DEBATE (3)
Only Mamta Banerjee who can take Modi head on.
Ravi Ranjan
