Never Trust Pakistan

India has been perennially in a state of undeclared war with Pakistan, facing terror attacks in succession by Pak- sponsored terrorists. All are citizens of Pakistan though labelled as non-state actors. Indian jawans, military installations, civilian properties are being continuously targeted. How could India restrict its action to demolishing terror structures. Garnering diplomatic support is a good initiative. But, this cannot ensure lasting peace. Far from it. Why not wipe out Pak’s ISI and Army ?
With entire world on our side, India must not lose time. This opportunity may not be available again. We have to protect our progeny instead of leaving them to fight a “thousand year jehaad ” by the rogue neighbor. Scales of operations must increase manifold .China, though presently non-committal, may suddenly turn belligerent. Still blocking Azhar Masood’s declaration as a global terrorist. Treacherous, untrustworthy. Against this backdrop, Aar-paar kee ladai chahiye. Pak Army-controlled Imran Khan’s peace offer is a trap. Destroy Rawalpindi Hq of ISI and Army.

British legacy !
An IAS officer to hear police complaints ? It is a British legacy being followed by an independent India.

Financial: This is the most important

As an open and legal operation, the financial transactions of all those suspected of being sympathisers of or connected with terrorists, should be put under full scrutiny by IT and ED special cells to be monitored by at least a joint secretary level officer. This list will involve an overwhelmingly large number of Muslims. And will involve many prominently political persons. No matter. Any political entity that cries foul should be shamed publicly as thwarting the war effort.
The real power of the Pakistan deep state is in the hands of a few Punjabi army officer, ex or serving. These are supposed to be known to the Intelligence Agencies. Most of them are also involved in illegal opium and arms trade and financing terror outfits. All of them have accounts in off shore safe havens. The iron is hot and it's a good time to strike because these off shore entities will be in a more cooperative state. This is hidden nerve of the Pakistan’s deep state and citizens of both side should feel happy about it.

War on terror.

The hot war is over, almost, skirmishes will continue. It is important but not as significant as the other three.
1. Diplomatic: India has done exceptionally well. M. Azhar is done with. A pragmatic China will not oppose the move this time. Pak is fully isolated.
2. Psy war: Although they will not admit it but the RAW has this cell. Like good boys, this is treated as something to be ashamed of and treated as covert operation. It is time to make it more aggressive and high profile with an enhanced budget. There is no shame in involving people like you and me.

Hats Off to NaMo
You did it. You have the courage to do it again. You deserve to thump your "Chhappan Inch Chhati". Jai Hind.

Vested interests are against it
This will never be implemented as vested and entrenched bureaucracy are against it. They fear that their corrupt actions will be exposed. Added to this, the Politicians also do not want it to be implemented for obvious reasons.

Don’t always spook India in the name of International Community

It was Pakistan that forced the air strike at Balakot. India has always been compelled to exercise extreme restraint by a large community of Indian non-experts on strategic matters. The media bought their wares easily ignoring public anger. It is mostly done in the name of the “international community”. The international community respects strong nations and strong leadership. India had compromised the leadership abysmally in the past. All countries first pursue their interests, but India has always been prodded to cater to the interests of Pakistan at its own cost. It was not going to be forever; neither will it be forever. India has to continuously keep revising its strategic goals. Even “peace” doesn’t mean the same to everyone. It might be in the interests of one nation to pursue peace but weapons need to be sold and they can be sold in conflict zones. Our governments at the centre as well as states have to stop exploiting our people in the same way the colonial powers did in the past; our businesses have to stop compromising on quality; our service providers can’t dish out outdated technology in a world changing superfast. The quality of press and media coverage of the air strike has been very disappointing as always. Can we take a vow to think India first from now onwards?

Promotion of departmental officers
What about the promotion of departmental officers from Assistant Directors to Deputy Directors which is pending from last April 2018. UPSC is sitting on the file for the last 11/2 month.
