Yes 95 per cent bureaucrats toe the line of the Government

BJP govt can gain by extending retirement age to 62 years
BJP Government at Centre can gain in the election year significant ground it has lost with government employees by timely extension of retirement age to 62 years. Proposal to raise retirement age in judiciary as well as for employees is also the call of the day with increasing health cover and increasing working life in India. It will also save extensive financially.

Utter dismay among all cadres of CSS
This is the state of affairs in all cadres of CSS viz. CSSS, CSS from top to bottom all promotions are held up for unknown reasons. There is a feeling of utter dismay amongst all cadre employees for their over due promotions not taking place.

The lateral entry of professionals at senior levels of the government ensures the civil servants are not complacent. GoI please keep up the good work, and consider bringing experts in the social sectors ( health, education , environment, rural development ) not just at JS level , but also at AS / Secy level.-
