The Special Judge for CBI Cases, Bangalore, has sentenced H S Eshwar, then Manager, Canara Bank, Srirangapattana Branch, (Karnataka) to undergo five years Simple Imprisonment with a fine of Rs.50 lakh in a disproportionate assets case.  The Court has also ordered attaching of properties worth Rs.4,90,31,838 acquired by the accused during the check period.
