NLC India Limited, a Navratna - Govt. of India Enterprise, under the Ministry of Coal, organised a program on “C” Level Certification in Project Management at Learning and Development Centre, Neyveli, as part of its committed efforts in developing young talents of the company in the execution of present and future projects & also as part of succession planning. The program was piloted by Project Management Associates India (PMA) which is affiliated to International Project Management Associates (IPMA). A total of 10 Executives from various Units of NLCIL had participated in the certification program. They were awarded IPMA “C” Level Certificate in Project Management by the Chairman and Managing Director of NLCIL  Prasanna Kumar Motupalli in the august presence of SAMIR SWARUP Director HR, NLCIL. A Saravanabhavan General Manager (i/c)/Learning and Development Centre also graced the occasion. This Certification program will benefit NLCIL for successful commissioning of the ongoing NLCIL projects on time without cost overrun. Also these certified Executives will help the Organization by demonstrating the company’s commitment to excellence in project management and also help significantly to provide confidence to clients that the company can handle the clients’ business efficiently and cost-effectively. Such programs would help the company in promoting and spreading NLCIL's spirit of Project Excellence across industries in terms of performance in project management, approach and results through the young talents who acquired knowledge in the above certification program.
