Nine IPS officers have been shifted in W Bengal. Accordingly, Gaurav Sharma has been appointed as IGP, STF, WB, while Mukesh was posted as CP, Bidhannagar PC in the rank of IG and Koteswara Rao is shifted as SP, Sunderban PD. Similarly, Avijit Banerjee has been shifted as SP, Purulia; Dhritiman Sarkar as SP, Paschim Medinipur; Aashish Maurya as SS, IB, WB; Dr S K Suresh as SS, IB, WB; Sandeep Karra as DC, West Zone, Asansol Durgapur PC and Indra Badan Jha will take over as Addl DC, Central Barrackpore.
