Lonavala incident: A lesson to the tourists

In a heartrending incident, five members of a family were washed away due to a sudden rise in water levels in the backwater of Bhushi Dam in Lonavala. Other family members and tourists were helpless and could not save the victims in the strong current water. A sudden increase in the water flow at the waterfall can cause danger to the people. During the rainy seasons, tourists should avoid unknown places to prevent risking their lives.
