Major administrative reshuffle in Karnataka (UPDATED)

In a major reshuffle, 23 IAS officers have been shifted and handed over new responsibilities in Karnataka.  Dr Rajendra K V has been appointed as Director, Department of Tourism, while Dr Ram Prasad Manohar will join as Additional Secretary, Department of Urban Development and Nitesh Patil is now Director, MSME. Similarly, Dr Arundhati Chandrashekhar will be posted as Commissioner, Panchayat Raj; Chandrashekar Nayak L as Additional Commissioner, Commercial Tax; Vijayamahantesh B Danammanavar as DC, Haveri; Govinda Reddy as DC, Gadag; Raghunandan Murthy as Commissioner of  Treasuries, Bengaluru; Dr. Gangadhara Swamy as DC. Davanagere; Lakshmikant Reddy as DC, Mysuru; Nitesh K as DC, Raichur; Mohammad Roshan as DC, Belagavi DC; Shilpa Sharma as DC, Bidar; Dilesh Sasi as CEO, E-Governance Centre, Bengaluru; Lokhande Snehal Sudhakar as MD, Karnataka Vidyuth Karkhane Limited, Bengaluru; Mrs Shreeroopa as Commissioner, Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services with additional charge of Director, Karnataka State Sericulture Research Development Institute; Gitte Madhav Vittal Rao is shifted as General Manager, Rehabilitation Centre, Bagalkot; Hemant N as CEO, Shivamogga District Panchayat; Nongjai Mohammad Ali Akram Shah as CEO, Zilla Panchayat, Vijayanagara district; Sharath B as Managing Director, KUIDFC; Dr Selvamani R as Managing Director, Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Board; Jyoti K as Director, Handloom and Sridhar C N has been appointed Director, Social Audit and Panchayati Raj Department.
