Reshuffle of IPS officers in Maharashtra (UPDATED)
As many as 10 IPS officers have been given new assignments in Maharashtra. Accordingly, Sunil Ramand has been appointed as ADG, Planning & Coordination, Mumbai, while Pravin Salunke was made ADG, Railway and Suresh Mekhla is ADG, Traffic. Similarly, Deepak Pandey has been appointed as ADG, Intelligence & Transport, Pune; Amitabh Gupta as ADG, Special Branch; Suhas Warke as IG, Atrocities against Women & Child; Ashwati Doraje as Special IG, Human Rights; Chhering Doraje as Special IG, Law & Order; Ranjan Kumar Sharma as Joint Commissioner, Pune and D K Patil was made Special IG, Nagpur range.
