As many as 84,106 vacancies out of total sanctioned strength of 10, 45,751 have been lying vacant in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assam Rifles (AR) for a long time. However, a total of 67,345 persons have been recruited from April, 2023 to February, 2024. Further, 64,091 vacancies have been notified and are at different stages of recruitment.
