Jayant Kumar, who is returning from deputation to the Ministry of Defence, has been transferred to Railway Board and posted as Executive Director, Mechanical Engineering (Modernisation & Development), Railway Board. He is an Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) officer.
