IAS Sanskriti Jain belongs to the 2015 batch of the MP cadre and is currently posted as collector of Seoni District, MP. She is the first woman to hold this position in over a decade.
Regarding her vision for Seoni, Sanskriti’s dream project focuses on promoting primary education. “I want to ensure that basic literacy and numeracy skills, including reading and learning fundamentals, are achieved by all children,” she says.
Seoni is a tribal-dominated district, and she aims to empower young children through education and create healthy awareness. She stated, 'I want every child in our district to be competent in basic reading, writing, and mathematics.
Sanskriti believes in the power of effective management, She focuses on improving systems and implementing small systematic changes to address problems at their root.
Under her leadership in Rewa as municipal commissioner, she managed to earn a National Level City Award for Pey Jal Survekshan 2024.
Although she has only been the Collector of Seoni for three months, Sanskriti has ambitious plans. In addition to her focus on education, she aims to rehabilitate forests, modernize villages, and promote renewable energy initiatives.
