whispers in the corridors
Under the aegis of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), HUDCO is observing Vigilance Awareness Week from October 28 to November 3, 2024. This year’s theme, “Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity” (सत्यनिष्ठाकीसंस्कृतिसेराष्ट्रकीसमृद्धि), underscores the importance of integrity in public life. The week aligns with the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, emphasizing vigilance’s role in national prosperity. To mark the occasion, Sanjay Kulshrestha, CMD HUDCO, administered the integrity pledge to employees, reinforcing their commitment to uphold integrity and transparency in their work. During the week, various activities and programs will be held to raise awareness among employees about ethics and accountability. Vigilance awareness week is a key part of CVC’s participative vigilance initiatives, aiming to unite all stakeholders in the fight against corruption. This observance seeks to foster greater sensitivity toward ethics and transparency in governance. With a strong focus on preventive vigilance over recent years, the CVC promotes integrity and strives to eradicate corruption with active citizen participation.
