B V Rao appointed Chairman of dedicated commission for BCs in Telangana
Retired IAS officer Busani Venkateshwara Rao has been appointed as the Chairman of the dedicated commission for Backward Classes (BCs) in Telangana. This commission is responsible for conducting a comprehensive enumeration of people belonging to the Backward Classes in the state, with the goal of determining appropriate reservation quotas for these communities in local governing bodies. To support Rao in his role, IFoS officer B Saidulu has been appointed as the commission's Secretary.
