THDC organizes awareness campaign as part of vigilance awareness week (UPDATED)

THDC India Limited, a Mini-Ratna, Power sector PSU, is committed to fostering a culture of integrity and contributing to the nation’s prosperity. In the ongoing Campaign under the ambit of Vigilance Awareness Week 2024, R K Vishnoi, CMD, THDCIL informed that as part of series of ongoing events to promote Integrity and Transparency, an awareness program was organized on 13th of November, 2024 to raise awareness about the importance of truthfulness, honesty, and transparency in society. Vishnoi emphasized the message from the  Prime Minister,  Narendra Modi highlighting that integrity, along with transparency and accountability, is fundamental to good governance and essential for the nation's holistic growth and development. An environment rooted in integrity fosters strong institutions, promotes ethical administration, and ensures that policies and decisions are people-centric. This approach helps build trust and drives sustainable progress. This year’s Vigilance Awareness Week’s theme, “Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity,” was highlighted during the event at Pramarth Niketan. The program was addressed by Ms. Rashmita Jha, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of THDC India Limited. Ms. Jha highlighted the significance of walking on the path of truth and integrity. During the event, Ms. Jha emphasized that individuals who uphold values of truth and honesty are rewarded with personal fulfillment and success. She highlighted that integrity and ethical conduct lead to a sense of accomplishment and respect, both professionally and personally. Satish Kumar Arya, Deputy Chief Vigilance Officer, THDCIL also administered the Integrity Pledge to the attendees at Pramarth Niketan, Rishikesh urging them to commit to the values of honesty and integrity. Other senior officials from THDC India Limited, including Hardev Pant, DGM (Vigilance), G S Chauhan, DGM (Vigilance) and Jitendra Joshi, Senior Manager, along with several employees from the vigilance department, were also present.
