HSCC India Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NBCC India Limited, has secured a work order from the Medical Education Department, Government of Maharashtra for the establishment of a comprehensive and unified e-library across 22 Government Medical Colleges and 3 Dental Colleges in the state. The approximate value of work is Rs. 98 Crore. The platform shall be aimed at enhancing the educational experience for students and faculty. HSCC will provide the unified platform (web and mobile applications) at these 25 colleges with licensed access to latest and updated e-books, e-journals, e-research materials, learning video etc. The e-library will allow registration of upto 1,00,000 users of the library and at least 32,000 concurrent users. The e-library will also allow off campus access to registered users. This cutting-edge project will provide a robust digital infrastructure that will serve as an all-encompassing platform for accessing a wide range of educational resources. The e-library platform is part of the Government of Maharashtra’s ongoing efforts to modernize and digitize educational facilities, ensuring that both students and faculty members are empowered with the latest resources to aid their academic and professional development.
