REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSE under the Ministry of Power and a leading NBFC, has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. REC has committed financial assistance of Rs. 2.92 Cr. for the procurement of medical equipment/items in the field hospitals of ITBP (Indo-Tibetan Border Police), Ministry of Home Affairs for the benefit of the force personnel, their families, dependents, Ex-CAPF & civilian population at Leh (2 nos.), Narayanpur in Chhattisgarh (1 no.), Itanagar in Arunachal Pradesh (1 no.), Dehradun in Uttrakhand (1 no.) & Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh (1 no.), to be implemented by REC Foundation. The agreement was signed on December 30, 2024 between Pradeep Fellows, Executive Director, CSR, REC and S C Mamgain, Inspector General (Admin), ITBP.
