UPSC meeting soon to promote 27 Haryana Civil Service Officers to IAS

A meeting of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is likely to be held soon to discuss the proposal to elevate 27 Haryana Civil Services (HCS) officers to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) rank. These State Civil Services officers are from the 2002, 2003 and 2004 HCS batches. The state Government has, after the consent of the Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, forwarded the proposal. The promotion of Haryana Civil Services officers has been pending since long.
