Seven IPS officers have been given new postings in UP. Upendra Kumar Agarwal has been posted as Inspector General of Police, Security, Lucknow, while Vinod Kumar Singh was made Additional Commissioner of Police, Crime, Kanpur City and Amit Verma is shifted as Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime, Lucknow. Similarly, Bablu Kumar has been appointed as Joint Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, Police Commissionerate; Pradeep Kumar as Superintendent of Police, Economic Offences Wing, Varanasi; S M Qasim as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Police Commissionerate, Kanpur City and Manoj Kumar Awasthi will take over as Superintendent of Police, Law and Order, Office of Director General of Police, Lucknow.
