The Bihar government has given new responsibilities to ten IAS officers. Five of them have been given additional charge, while four have been transferred. HR Srinivas has been appointed as the Principal Secretary, Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes Welfare Department, while Chaitanya Prasad, Chief Investigation Commissioner, GAD, has been given the additional charge of Chairman-cum-Member, Revenue Board. Similarly, Dr B Rajender has been given the additional charge of DG and Special Secretary, BIPARD; Rachna Patil will hold additional charge of Additional Director General, BIPARD; Pankaj Kumar, PS, PHED, has been given additional responsibility of Principal Secretary, Food and Consumer Protection Department and MD, State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation; Divesh Sehra has been given the additional responsibility of Secretary, Mines and Geology Department and Commissioner, Mines and has been relieved from the charge of Secretary, Panchayati Raj; Sandeep Kumar Pudalakatti has been posted as Secretary, Transport; Manoj Kumar as Secretary, Panchayati Raj and Narmadeshwar Lal was appointed as Principal Secretary, Minor Water Resources.
