The week-long activities were held under the theme, ‘सतर्कता: हमारी साझा जि म्मेदारी / Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility’ highlighting the collective role of individuals, institutions, and society in fostering transparency, integrity, and accountability. Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Mugdha Sinha, IAS, Managing Director, ITDC, said: “Observing Vigilance Awareness Week gives ITDC an opportunity to reflect, engage and collectively reaffirm our commitment to transparency & accountability. The Tourism and Hospitality – or any other industry - rests on the foundation of ethical conduct.” Sunil Kumar Sharma, CVO, ITDC added: In line with Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) directives, ITDC continues to strengthen preventive vigilance measures across its Offices and Hotels, including timely disposal of complaints, enhanced asset management systems and digital vigilance initiatives.’’ The observance began with employees across ITDC’s Corporate Offices, Hotels, Catering Units, Regional Offices, Ashok Travels & Tours, the Ashok Institute of Hospitality & Tourism Management (AIHTM), and other divisions taking the Integrity Pledge.
