A 1990 batch IPS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre, Prashant Kumar has been awarded with PMG on Republic Day, 2021. Kumar was also awarded President Police Medal for Gallantry (PMG) on August 15 2020 for his gallant action in eliminating two dreaded rewarded criminal.
