DEBATE (1)
Refer to the debate in your esteemed column "whispers in the corridors" on this subject. To my mind, undoubtedly, Narendra Modi will make the best Prime Minister for this country. He has risen from the grassroots and has gone through the mill to understand the nuances of not only politics but also the socio-economic-caste fabric of this vast country and heterogeneous society/population. His experience of Gujarat has proved to be of great help to him. He has vision and has proved himself to be a great visionary in the last few years. He has improved our international relations with all neighbouring countries and on the economic front he has displayed boldness which no other PM had done so far. He is doing so much for the kisaan, the unorganised labour, the youth, the helpless and hapless, aged and the infirm that is difficult to fathom and believe unless one experiences it. There is no comparison between Rahul Gandhi and Modi. Rahul is just a chocolate baby without any administrative experience. Can the blessing of Heaven that he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and was brought up in air conditioned comfort be considered a qualification to be the Prime Minister of this country.

DEBATE (1)
I am of the view that only Narendra Modi can be the best P.M. for India if one takes a look at the photo gallery of politicians of the other aspirants. No other political leader has a clean image , not any vision as compared to Modi. His tenure as chief Minister of Gujarat and as P.M. since 2014 has been spotlessly clean and there has been no scam . He is a great administrator and an astute statesman. Neither Mayawati nor Mamta, nor Akhilesh Yadav and not even Rahul Gandhi can be a replacement for Modi.
Mrs. Dipika Agrawal
DEBATE (2)
My choice is Rahul Gandhi. He will bring fresh idea. He believes in democratic values and his party represents the true picture of my country.
Dipak Tiwari
DEBATE (3)
Some people in Delhi, Mumbai, Power Centres, Opposition parties, within BJP, etc wants to stop Modi coming back. I travel across country due to my job. I see, common people support Modi coming back. They have benefitted and also believe Modi's implementation effect will reflect in long term. It reveals, India is moving towards welfare state. In the next 5 years, India will transform in identity and type of politics.

Modi Govt has failed many a times
The Govt is screwed up in its thinking. I thought that govt will move away from appointing its bureaucrats as the CMDs. They should find best material from outside the Govt. Modi Govt has failed in this many a times. And because of such failures, it will lose its grip in the next election.

DEBATE (1)
Rahul Gandhi is being projected as the Prime ministerial face by the Congress party. Comparison between PM Modi and Gandhi is inappropriate. One cannot compare the two incomparable.

DEBATE (1)
I consider Rahul Gandhi as best PM because he has built up his image by struggle.Modi is tarnishing his image.

DEBATE (2)
Rahul Gandhi can’t be better PM than Narenrda Modi because of lack of experience.

Re-employment of CSS/CSSS officers
First of all, let me make it very clear that the re-employment against the existing vacancy may, in any manner, be appreciable. But now-a-days, re-employment has been prevalent in the Ministries/Departments. My humble submission pertains to re-employment of CSS/CSSS officers. We have been witnessing that each and every Ministry/Department in the Central Government adopts its parameters relating to remunerations, leave etc. It would be appreciated if the work relating to determining of remuneration and other perks etc. for the re-employment of the officers retired on superannuation may be allocated to one nodal Ministry/Department which is Department of Pensions and Pensioners' Welfare which may formulate a policy covering remunerations, leave etc. for the persons to be re-employed in consultation with Department of Expenditure. If a Ministry/Department, due to exigency of work, wishes to engage Consultant, it can send their requirements to nodal Department (Department of Pensions and Pensioners' Welfare) which may forward the candidature of selected persons to the concerned Ministry. In this manner, Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare may seek the information in prescribed format and call for the information from amongst retired officers of the Central/State Government and send their names who fulfill the eligibility criteria of the concerned Ministry/Department for re-employment. In this manner, there would be no anomaly in terms of remunerations and other benefits to be given to the officers so engaged.

DEBATE (1)
Definitely Narendra Modi should be voted to power. One always gets the feeling that Rahul Gandhi is being imposed on the country. India needs some 'out of box' kind of thinking which only one who has no personal interest or ambition can do and implement. Till today what Rahul does or think are not his deeds or mind. He is being spoon fed only.

DEBATE (2)
Rahul Gandhi deserves a chance to rule country
I believe that Rahul Gandhi, who was a virgin politician, has succeeded in political manoeuvres with results of three states’ assembly elections proving it. A government is run by advisors and senior party leaders who support from time to time. If Rahul Gandhi is installed as Prime Minister of India, he will be supported by a group of senior advisors. I think he should be given a chance to rule the country.

Political class misuses mandate
Political class is basically corrupt and misuses the mandate given. Whoever be ruling must be voted out.

Impose President's Rule in West Bengal
The President should not waste any time further and immediately impose President's Rule in West Bengal, before getting the law and order of the state further deterioration. The present situation in West Bengal is total chaotic, as the total police force is compelled to dance with the tune of party leaders.

2019 elections results likely to keep Namo & Raga at bay

DEBATE (1)
I think that 2019 elections are likely to give unexpected results with queering the pitch of over-ambitious political parties and politicians. The outcome of Lok Sabha elections may deprive Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi of becoming Prime Minister of India. The formation of new coalition may decide new candidate for Prime Ministerial post. The history of late 80s and early 90s is expected to repeat in this election.
Suresh Kapse
DEBATE (2)
Today, only one person who can make India stronger is Modi. If any other experiment will be tried, that will not be in favour of our country. First time in the history, we have got such a strong leader who doesn't have any personal interest. God Save our country.

DEBATE (3)
Prime Minister, Modi should be in the saddle for at least next two elections............ Cheers. God bless him & India.

CSSS officers suffer
More than 260 posts of PSO are lying vacant in CSSS and a large part of it will be subsumed in next four years without operation even once. The most important point is CSSS officers have suffered due to non-availability of posts and when posts are available these are not being operated.

DEBATE (1)
I feel PM Narender Modi has initiated lot of steps and launched a number of good schemes in the last four years. The effect of these schemes would be more visible on the ground in the time to come. There is need to ensure continuity in the implementation and monitoring of these new schemes which is possible only if PM Modi gets another term at the helm of affairs. Although almost all political parties have joined hands with no common ideology to change this Government, it seems people are intelligent enough and would definitely vote this Government again for another term.

JusticeTripathi, Narendra ji ki Chai aur Rajpal sahab
One of the mildest but most powerful satires in the Indian film art work of today is a film that has been screened many times and enjoyed. Somehow the satire has escaped public attention. Surnames like Justice Tripathi and the overbearing advocate Rajpal Sahab evoke images of developments since the month of release of the film- September 2017. There are two volumes of the story, may be for maintaining the secrecy of the artistic hit on the decadence of the system. The digusted judge asks “Narendra Ji subah to garam chai pila diya karo” and at a later stage he asks Narendra ji “Narendra ji mujhe ek chai pilao aur ek cup Rajpal Sahab ko bhi do” - this after a heated discussion that is the brand image of advocate Rajpal, which provoked even a cool-headed judge Tripathi to shout at him with equal ferocity. The beauty of a satire is always hidden in the nuance of the use of words, proper nouns, usage of language and the extension of meaning beyond what appears in print or audio alone. The Lok Sabha 2019 is going to decide the PIL of 80% Indians exploited for 70 long years by the deceitful feudal mentality of Indians enjoying power over the poor. Just think coolly for a moment: what language will all the communists, socialists, secularists and others speak when the figures interchange to 20:80%? Is there anybody to accept the challenge to do this simple figure work? Incidentally, notes of the value of 2000/500/200 were not available in the bank on 1st February which was dumping only old soiled 100 rupee notes. Has the black economy revived in the hope of a change ?

Priyanka as PM with Sonia’s support !

Congress may prop up Priyanka Gandhi as PM it seems at the last moment they way the party had brought her into politics. Then she would have Sonia Gandhi’s support so that Rahul Gandhi may focus on only party affairs.

Rahul grooming well but PM not yet
Rahul Gandhi is certainly not PM material but grooming well to become one. In the next general elections, it seems more certain of Narendra Modi returning as PM.

Is it a conspiracy ?
There have been whispers as to the reason for sudden transfer of one officer handling a particular case of banking sector. Looking at the goings-on in the last few months, is it possible that some officers of the discredited CBI may have been working to bring discredit to the present govt. by taking unwarranted actions which may not stand court scrutiny and also leaking names of certain high profile persons in banking sector just to create panic amongst public, financial sector and foreign investors which can de-stablise the economy in no time.

Modi should get one more chance

DEBATE (1)
I reckon that Narmendra Modi should be given one more chance to be Prime Minister of India. The decisions taken by him will yield positive results after five years.

DEBATE (2)
Rahul as PM possible but will need advisors
Rahul Gandhi could become PM provided he is surrounded by some good advisors. The role of advisors will be crucial if Rahul becomes PM as he is still too young to take national decisions.

DEBATE (1)
Thank you for the opportunity to express. There is not even a distant match to Modi for PM, given his extraordinary calibre. Though we all know this, perhaps, our shameless and selfish attitude or some compulsions make us look other way, probably also swayed by the make-believe propaganda.
Honestly speaking, currently, Modiji is the best candidate who is capable of meeting the aspirations of the nation, by his individual merit - living style, services rendered to the society, competency, proven track record, etc.
So, the vote is for Modi. Rest all can wait, preparing themselves to qualify, in the real sense. Let the good of our nation & our people in particular and the world in general be our guiding force here. Namo Namah !
A grateful citizen.
Slogans might decide the next PM
Naa khaungaa naa khaane doongaa or Khao aur khilao, looto aur lutao
The dabate seems to have been concluded even before it started as seminal changes in the polity have taken place since it started. Irrespective of individuals, the next election will confront voters with a clear choice between options as listed in the foregoing. Besides, whether the voter choice is for tukde tukde Bharat or united India; weak or strong India; India governed by foreign hand or resident Indians; India ruled by parallel government or elected government; India as a superpower or poor country; India worth emulation or contempt. In any case, the electioneering is going to provide enough comic relief in the form of frailties and foibles of the sexes in politics and in TV studios.

Narendra Modi is the most suitable face for PM. His strength is wisdom, experience, honesty reliability and popularity. He is a true patriot. Har har modi ghar ghar modi. India really needs Modi.

Abdication of responsibility in pathetic and forlorn countryside !
Instead of catching the bull by the horns to sort out any grim situation, the governments, over the period, have found out solutions in abdication of its responsibilities, to gradually hand over the most essential services to the private players. In the year 2005,the govt ,in its wisdom, thought of bringing in the corporate houses to run educational institutions, particularly in the hinterland, but the result is for everyone to see, the education in the rural India, has gone into paralysis. Recently the govt made its intentions clear to hand over the govt rural primary health centres, community health centres, and urban community health centres to the private doctors and hospitals, by getting an advertisement published in newspapers. Under pressure from the various health and social organisations, the govt has immediately taken a U-turn. A govt ,which cannot administer its organisations efficiently is not expected to regulate them well, after handing these over to the private players, despite its assurances of the proposed systems to be public and poor friendly. It is a gospel truth that the health system in the state has been on down slide for long. But in spite of that deterioration the district level, sub-divisional level, and some hospitals where doctors are dedicated, are generally full to the brim with patients.
In the year 1976, there were wide-spread reports in Sangrur that, the civil hospital had turned into a kennel. It was also reported that a newly born infant was devoured by the ferocious dogs which roamed about in the wards. In the year 1987, I inspected some rural hospitals in Hoshiarpur, where I found many dogs and other cattle-heads freely moving around in the wards. At some places they outnumbered the indoor patients. There is a village in Amritsar district, where a govt doctor visits the hospital once in three days. He lives in the city and runs his diagnostic centre and also works in some private hospitals. This has generally become a rule rather than an exception. The non practicing allowance given to govt doctors ,has not brought about any positive change in the health delivery system. The medical education has become very expensive, of late. Though the salary of medical officers is also good ,yet the system does not inspire the medicine professionals to join or stay in govt. The recruitment system in the govt ,with so frequent changes and lethargic approach, has become uninspiring and clogged.
Though the health delivery system has become expensive, and generally the reputation of many medical practitioners, has suffered, yet the doctor' place in public esteem still remains intact. Still so many doctors are so noble and so godly. I remember, Dr Aishi lal Khurana, worked in rural dispensary in village Kasel in Amritsar before partition and continued there till mid fifties. He maintained the hospital, so well that many people from the surrounding villages would come to see the hospital. In almost 20 villages, he was a house-hold name. He never disappointed any patient. He would visit the patient even in the thick of night and very distant places. He lived with his family of five small kids and wife in the hospital premises. Though he was a very kindly person, he would not allow even the most feared persons to speak loudly in the hospital premises. He had turned the hospital into a paradise. After his retirement in the mid fifties, he joined a hospital in village Bohrhu. That was the only charitable private hospital in the area. His reputation was so impeccable that in the entire area ,people would go to Bohrhu village, when they required medical help. He had made his residence at Lawrence road Amritsar. But on so many occasions, he would go to hospital, which was 12 miles away, on his cycle and also pedal back from hospital .Nobody remembered if he had ever taken a leave from hospital. People revered him like demi-god and he never failed them. People still remember him, even three decades after he is no more.
Governance has generally been a casualty over the period and more so in the rural India. But the public should not suffer because of the incompetence, lack of will ,commitment, dedication ,and diligence, on the part of the govt. Govt must try whole-heartedly to improve the health-care system, and endeavour to find out more Dr Aishi lals, but in case it finds it impossible to do so,then suitable alternative be found out,but not to succumb to pressures and take U-turns. Abdication of authority is not the solution.

Induction of Mrs Priyanka into politics paves the way for Rahul Gandhi

DEBATE (1)
An induction of Mrs Priyanka Gandhi Vadra into active politics will alter political scenario. Mrs Priyanka is expected to endear herself to the voters of the country. Her personality is a reminiscent of her grandmother late Indira Gandhi. She will emerge as stumbling block for Narendra Modi to retain power and pave the way for Rahul Gandhi to don the mantle of the country. I reckon that the people voted for Modi to power in the hope of transformation of the country, but he did not meet to the aspiration of the people. Present political scenario leans on in favour of Congress and other opposition parties.

DEBATE (2)
Coalition will be able to decide on PM
If a coalition forms the Government at the Centre after 2019 Lok Sabha polls, a consensus candidate will surely emerge for PM post. Certainly, there would be some bickering but finally a consensus candidate will emerge.

DEBATE (3)
Coalition govt in 2019 !
I feel there would be coalition Government in 2019 and consensus would emerge on an educated out of the blue, even if un-elected as MP, as Prime Minister of India, Government would complete term too and the next term too would go to that coalition. Democracy is now born in India and voter is the king.

Bureaucrats not happy with PM
Many bureaucrats not happy with PM Modi as he has clipped the wings. That is why all clandestine operations are going on including the leakage of CBI investigation in ICICI bank scam, Enhancement of gratuity of Rs 20 lakhs wef from 29th march 2018 instead of 1st January 2016 for retired CPSE executives, EPS 95 pension for exempted CPSE employees, Non implementation of Pension in steel Maharatna PSU etc. Hope PM modi will look into these aspects in the interest of 85 lakhs effected senior citizens.
