14 senior IPS officers have been transferred in Bihar. Shaleen has been made the IG, Bihar Special Armed Police (BSAP), while Rakesh Rathi was appointed as IG, Training and Rajesh Kumar takes over as IG, Mithila region. Similarly, Vinay Kumar has been appointed as IG (Headquarters); Shivdeep Wamanrao as IG, Purnia Range; Vikas Kumar as DIG, Begusarai Range; Babu Ram as DIG, Tirhut Range; Nilesh Kumar, DIG. Saran Range; Rashid Zaman as DIG (Administration), Patna; Vijay Prasad as AIGP (Training); Daya Shankar as SP, ERSS, Patna; Pankaj Kumar Raj as SP-cum-Assistant Director, Civil Security; Deepak Baranwal as DIGP (Security), Special Branch, Patna.
