SP Singh, who is presently posted as Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer (PCME) in Eastern Railway (ER), has been delegated administrative and financial powers of the post of Director General (DG), Indian Railway Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (IRIMEE). He is an Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) officer.
